Quick Read #21: Is this our Pentecost moment..?

Has the State of Israel become a stumbling stone for Christians? It’s not hard to imagine that recent events will have many wondering if modern Israel is the intention of God; are the Jews meant to be there at all. Was it correct and accurate prophesies, which brought it about or is the Zionist State the creation of men? If the latter, what are the ramifications for the Christian Church?

In asking such questions, I am drawn to Peter’s great sermon at Pentecost when he declared: God has made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both LORD and Christ. (Acts 2:36) Right away they were pricked in their heart, and they asked of Peter and the rest of the Apostles, what shall we do? By supporting Israel, are there any similarities with those gathered 2000 years ago when Peter revealed their sin, and has Christianity now arrived at the pricking of its heart?

So, how and why was the Jewish State founded and who were those responsible? In short, it is down to Christians and secular Ashkenazi Jews: Christian ministers had planted the idea of Palestine as a home for the Jews. The idea was strongly opposed by rabbis but in the end the secularists prevailed, supported by the governments of Britain and America, backed by Evangelical Christian lobbyists. The new State of Israel was ratified by the United Nations in `1948. Not so long ago, President Biden said if an Israel was not already in the Middle East ‘we would invent one.’

Now, Ancient Israel occupied Cannan under a conditional lease set by God. They were permitted to remain as long as they met the LORD’S terms: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. (Leviticus 25:23) They were expelled for breaking the lease conditions in killing the Prophets, witchcraft, idolatry and their unfaithfulness.

But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations. (2Chon 7:19-20)

The Bible record clearly shows that the Northern House (the ten tribes of Israel) was removed by the Assyrians c.721BC. Around 120 years later, Judah and Benjamin (the Southern House of Judah) was taken to Babylon for 70 years, from which a remnant returned to Jerusalem to repair the temple. While in Babylon they re-wrote the Torah and were accused by the Prophet, Jeremiah; to be a taunt and a curse for their sin. (Jeremiah 24:9) After the crucifixion of Jesus, which they demanded to satisfy their Law, the rest of Judah and Benjamin (the Jews) was crushed and banished by Rome in 70AD.

As we see in the letter from James (1:1) all 12 tribes had been; ‘cast out of His sight’ into the nations. Regardless of what theologians and Jewish scholars might tell you, there is no biblical evidence that the LORD has changed His mind allowing for the return of any tribe in this age, or any other. Any scripture used to support the so-called ‘return’ of the Jews has been taken out of context to justify it; used to back a false claim; and crafted in direct opposition to the Word of God.

The State of Israel is an Anglo/American/Zionist creation, which the churches have swallowed hook, line and sinker.

When writing his first letter to Timothy, Paul gave stern warning: the spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils. (1Timothy 4:1) And when writing to Titus warned the Elders to not give heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. (Tit us1:14) So, we were given sufficient notice of treacherous times ahead, which was completely ignored.

But let’s be very clear. This is not about devout Jews who keep their religion and faith. It is about evil men with political and militarist aims; who though sleight of hand convinced Christianity they are God’s chosen people with a right to a land that isn’t theirs; a land they now occupy through conquest and bloodshed. As rabbis have been saying for a long time, and more recently, they have hijacked Judaism to cover their crimes.

It is time to wake-up to this cruel deception.

I pray the LORD Jesus Christ now opens your heart and mind to the matter at hand. I pray also He reveals in you the truth of His Israel: the Israel of God that He may be honoured and glorified. He is not concerned with flesh and blood, nations, creeds and doctrines, but He is concerned for your spiritual welfare. His kingdom is not of this world but He will live within us when we follow Peter’s sound advice.

Repent, and be baptised every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remissions of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)

In love and peace as always,

James
