Welcome to Jesus and Israel

There are numerous websites proclaiming the Lord Jesus Christ and the Christian message.  There are many that carry, to varying degrees of correctness, a history of Israel and the dissemination of the gospel by the Apostles and the early Church.

Sadly there are many, like the Church today, which offer a cup that is empty.

It is my hope that by spending a little time here you will see a different view, based in Scripture, which may help those searching not only the truth of Christ, but this history as well.

Therefore, the purpose of this site is to give you some tools that you may prepare yourself for what is to come.  It will also debunk misconceptions about the founding of the Church of Rome, the modern State of Israel, and the Protestant Church today.  It may give you an insight into a world that has for many, become more than a little crazy.

However, the underlying reason is to introduce you to the Jesus I have come to know and to throw new light upon the Israel of God.

It has taken me more than a few decades to find Him.  I sincerely hope your journey doesn’t take as long.

In love and peace, James, A servant in Jesus’ Name

Who is Jesus Really?

Many good and heartfelt words have been written about Jesus Christ. Equally, there has been much written that is confusing and mistaken. The bedrock documents for everything about Jesus and the God of Israel are the manuscripts that comprise the Holy Bible: It outlines a promise; an assurance a redeemer would come with an inheritance for all that believed.

Cults & Heresies!

This work set out to look at just one group associated with the wider Church, but I found this subject more widespread than I imagined. Heresies and cults are common within Christianity, well exampled within the Denominational Church System. And straight away we arrive at the question; what comprises a heresy, and what marks a cult.

Is the Trinity True?

Christians are raised to believe Jesus is part of the Godhead, now firmly established as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. But is this right? Is there any evidence the Apostles, the Prophets, even Jesus, stated this as fact? Thankfully the Holy Bible abounds with citings that attest to the true nature of Christ, and not one of them declares He is part of a Trinity, in fact it states the opposite.

A Legacy of Half-Truths

The vast majority of churchgoers’ have little, if any idea about the ancestors of their belief, the promises given them, or their origins. This has led to a basic ignorance of the foundation on which the Gospel was built, with many being led astray by a poor understanding of their inheritance, and the mischief of others.

Peter, Paul, Simon & Rome

While there is considerable evidence for Paul, and other Apostles regarding their journeys, we have no evidence from the Holy Bible, Peter went to Rome. The Church itself now admitting no hard evidence that Peter was ever there. While there are comments about him, and the founding of the early Roman Church, they in all likelihood have given rise to some creative adjustments over time.

So, Who Are The Jews Again?

The Ashkenazi Jews are the descendants of a Turco-Fin people known as the Chazars, and even though they assumed many ancient Israelite names, there is not a single drop of Jacob’s blood in the Chazarian vein. My fervent hope is that Christian Zionists will open their eyes to the origin of European Jewry, and reflect upon the founders of the modern State of Israel.

Christianity in Britain

Joseph, who had claimed the body of Christ; and soon after brought the Gospel to the Isles, passed to sleep in Christ in 76AD. On his tombstone are found these words: “To Britain I came after I had interred the Christ. I taught. I rest.”

The LORD’S Angel

If you have spent your time wisely reading the Holy Bible, you will know of the Angels’ Gabriel and Michael, Raphael and Uriel.  Each has a particular quality, but the LORD’S Angel is without equal.  The Bible Readers Encyclopedia, W. M. Clow defines the Angel of the LORD as: ‘a special form of manifestation of Himself by God to man.’ So, who is this Angel and what is his purpose?

Yahshua or Jesus: What’s in a Name?

The Sacred Name Movement [SNM] was founded by Church of G-d member, Clarence Dodd, who believed there was a need to align Christianity to the observance and language of Israel, in order to secure ones salvation. By bringing into question the exact Name of God, this movement interferes with an obvious truth already known to many.

The Problem With Gentiles

The Concise Oxford dictionary as with all similar publications use the word, Jew(s) to describe ancient Israel and Israelite’s, which is plainly wrong. The second definition also makes Christians, Gentiles, which is why it is crucial to know the difference between Israel, Judah, Judea and Jew.

Christmas and Easter

There was no celebration of Christ’s birth until well into the 4th Century for the simple reason that few, if any, knew when it was. But today, we can assess with a high degree of accuracy when Jesus made His entrance to our world.

Restorationism

The men and women of Restorationism have placed their own belief ahead of God’s inspired Word, and in doing so founded one of the greatest calamities of all time. By not being aware the Holy Bible is about matters of the spirit, they failed to hear the small voice, and see the fullness of God.

The Rapture – Fact or Fancy?

The Secret Rapture was practically unheard of, more to the point, untaught, until around 1830. Furthermore, the Secret Rapture was not taught by the founders of the Reformed faith, neither was it mentioned by the Apostles or Paul. So, where did this idea come from; how and when, did this novel concept gain acceptance in mainstream Christian thought?

Darwin, Dinosaurs and Floods

Many people believe Charles Darwin opposed the Bible account of Creation. This was not the case. However those who took up the Darwinian hypothesis have done nothing but create a legacy of speculation, conflict, and doubt. Typically ignored is the fact; Charles Darwin acknowledged the Creator as the sole means of life on Earth.
