The Blinding of Christianity:
And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. (1Kings 19:11-12)
Preamble:
The problem for most of us today is the unrelenting clamor of this world. We don’t hear what we should hear, and we don’t see what we should see: the magnificent works of the Ever-Living God. The same can be said of the men and women of Restorationism, who also failed to see and hear. They placed their own belief ahead of His inspired Word, and in doing so founded one of the greatest calamities of all time. By not being aware the Holy Bible is about matters of the spirit, they failed to hear the small voice, and see the fullness of God.
Their work has brought forth a world of conflict and division; they have soiled the spirit and truth of the Gospel and have dishonored the Name of the LORD. Our work is to believe. We will all be judged according to our work, and according to our faith. We believe by faith through His Grace, which we honour by keeping His Gospel pure, not by adopting the opinions and fancies of others. We must seek His heavenly Kingdom, not build a store in this one.
The scale and consequence of Restorationism will soon become clear as we demystify some recent out of sight, and down-played history. That all nations are caught up by it is an understatement. For all we know, it was the spark for everything to emerge over the last two centuries concerning religion, politics and the present state of the world and mankind: for without its momentum, none of it might have transpired. This is what happens when the innocent are led by the blind, and the truth of God and His Christ is ignored.
Judah:
Due to their sin, the LORD divided ancient Israel: ten northern tribes centered on Samaria; two tribes retained Jerusalem in the south. The ten tribes of Israel were later taken further north by the Assyrians, and seemingly disappear from the Scriptures in their exile. Roughly 120 years later, the two tribes of Judah were taken east to Babylon, where they stayed for 70 years. While in Babylon, some were rescued by the Scythians (Jer 50:3-4) leaving only a remnant to return to Jerusalem, following the decree of Cyrus the Great. The few that returned to rebuild the temple, took with them their new Babylonian religion of Talmudism: the doctrine of the Pharisee. They were the Jews who crucified, Jesus and persecuted the saints. A generation after killing the Christ, they were crushed by the might of Rome and scattered forever: the small number that survived Masada in 70AD went to Spain.
Because ye have said, The LORD hath raised us up prophets in Babylon; Know that thus saith the LORD of the king that sitteth upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwelleth in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity; Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil. (Jer 29:15-17)
The land of Judea was occupied by Israel under a conditional lease. Israel and Judah were permitted to live on the land as long as they met the terms and conditions set by God: …for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me. (Lev 25:23) They were expelled for breaking the terms of lease; by killing God’s Prophets; witchcraft, idolatry, and their infidelity. This is what the LORD said would happen to the whole of Israel for turning away from His statutes and following false gods.
But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations. (2Chon 7:19-20)
The LORD is true to His Word. Israel and later, Judah were expelled from the land for their sin, pride, and wickedness. The prophet Jeremiah said of Judah in which today’s Jews place their ancestry; I will even give them up to be tossed to and fro among all the kingdoms of the Earth for evil; to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse in all the places whither I drive them. (Jer 24:9)
The Jews of Jerusalem and Judea: the Pharisees, Sadducees, and the smaller sects to come out of Judah and Benjamin, were finally scattered into the nations in 70AD, never to return until gathered by the LORD at a time and place of His choosing. Yet, against His expressed purpose, certain people, through self-importance and ignorance have made a home for the Jews in the very land from which they were evicted. And in doing so, have raised themselves above the wisdom of the Ever-Living God.
Restorationism:
O that the chosen band might now their brethren bring: And gathered out of every land present to Zion’s King. Of all the ancient race not one be left behind, but each impelled by secret grace his way to Canaan find. (Charles Wesley: 1762)
There is no doubt the LORD loved John and Charles Wesley. Yet, they, like the majority at the time were unaware of the history of Israel after their exile, and the backdrop to modern Jewry. Because of this standing, and with key portions of Scripture like the Seven Seals, the Seven Trumpets, the Man of Sin and the LORD’S Israel yet to be revealed, many were led astray. We instead, will take the straight path by looking only to Scripture; being guided by its spirit and what it actually says. By not doing this; the originators of Christian Zionism, wrongly selected Scripture to fit an idea rather than being directed by the LORD through His Prophets and Gospel. It was their first major mistake.
John Owen was the first to openly suggest the idea of the restoration of the Jews. The well respected non-conformist theologian and Puritan, is most often referred to on this subject: his thought, the Jews could be brought into knowledge of the Messiah and restored to their own land, grew, and was accepted by many. The Scottish theologian, Samuel Rutherford, who like many of his contemporaries wrongly saw the Jews as elder brethren, also believed Christ’s return to be the stimulus for Jewish restoration.
While many of these early proponents were post-millennial, the beginning of the nineteenth century saw a shift to a pre-millennial standpoint concerning the Jews, and the return of Christ that restoration must precede the Second Coming. But, as such thinking was mainly centered in Britain and Europe, it remained somewhat undeveloped until John Darby, founder of the Brethren and Dispensationalism, went to America. And, while the concept of the Jews returning to their homeland was no doubt, private conversation in many Christian homes and Colleges throughout Europe and Britain, it was America that brought it to life.
The Believers Meeting for Bible Study; later known as the Niagara Conference (1876 to 1897) was a regular series of Christian fellowships started by James H. Brookes, a Presbyterian minister who saw them as a meeting of minds for the appreciation of the word of God.
Fellowships had gathered at various locations before ending up on the shores of Lake Ontario, by the Niagara River. It was in 1878, the Conference drafted their document later known as the Niagara Creed.
The 14 point declaration clearly established Protestant Christianity had further lost its way. When the assembly issued their transcript, which stated the Jews must first be restored to Palestine for the millennium to begin, they blatantly second-guessed God. There is no mention in the New Testament when the thousand year reign will begin, where it will be, or for that matter, what the millennium actually is that could be easily understood by the worldly mind. But the momentum had begun for Jewish restoration to become paramount in evangelical Christian thinking. With others beginning to embrace the idea, Christian Zionism was set to take us headlong into a world few could have imagined.
While the repatriation ideas of John Darby fired the thinking of many Christians, his theology did not. His great critic, the erudite Baptist, Charles Spurgeon, did however agree with Darby’s notion of Jewish restoration, as did many of his peers. But common to all, was a genuine hope of conversion: that once in Palestine, the Jews, earlier scattered by the LORD for their evil, would accept the Gospel and come willingly to Christ. They couldn’t have got it any more wrong!
Jewish Secularism:
Not many Rabbis were convinced that national-political Zionism or the proposed return of the Jews to Palestine was a good idea. Recalling the earlier common view, Australian Rabbi Gedalya Liebermann wrote:
From its inception, many rabbis warned of the potential dangers of Zionism and openly declared that all Jews loyal to G-d should stay away from it like one would from fire. They made their opinions clear to their congregants and to the general public. … Their message was that Zionism is a chauvinistic racist phenomenon which has absolutely naught to do with Judaism. They publicly expressed that Zionism would definitely be detrimental to the well being of Jews and Gentiles and that its effects on the Jewish religion would be nothing other than destructive. Further, it would taint the reputation of Jewry as a whole and would cause unreserved confusion in the Jewish and non-Jewish communities.
Rabbi Liebermann went on to make this most important point, which should rectify a mistaken belief held by most Christians concerning Jews and Judaism:
Judaism is a religion. Judaism is not a race nor is it a nationality. That was and still remains the consensus amongst the rabbis. We were given the Holy Land by G-d in order to be able to study and practice the Torah without disturbance and to attain levels of holiness difficult to attain outside of the Holy Land. We abused the privilege and we were expelled. That is exactly what all Jews say in their prayers on every Jewish festival; because of our sins we were expelled from our land. (Spiritually and Physically Responsible: Gedalya Liebermann)
Jewish tradition maintains they were banished for their transgression: any possible ‘return’ was to be at God’s doing, not by any other means; political or otherwise. True Torah Jews maintain, Zionism, by advocating a political and military end to the Jewish exile, denies the very essence of our Diaspora existence. We are in exile by Divine Decree and may emerge from exile solely via Divine Redemption.
Grand Rabbi, Teitelbaum was vehemently opposed to the idea when he called political Zionism, the work of Satan: a sacrilege and a blasphemy. He forbade participation with anything remotely associated with any form of it, stating Zionism was bound to call the wrath of G-d upon His people. True Torah Jews continue to uphold this view: We are concerned that the widespread misconception that all Jews support the Zionist state and its actions endangers Jews worldwide. We are not politically motivated. We are motivated by our concern for the peace and safety of all people throughout the world including those living in the Zionist state. We support and pray for peace for the people of the Zionist state but have no interest in and do not support the Zionist government. (truetorahjews.org)
The reason for this initial lack of support from traditional Judaism was Zionism’s implied denial of their Diaspora existence and heavenly redemption. Together with its process of coercion, armed intervention and other persuasive means, Zionism was seen to deeply oppose established Jewish customs: many maintaining their conviction, they were driven out of the land by God, and would be reinstated by God, and not by any political or military means. In contrast to the new Christian Zionist movement, the religious leaders of Judaism were universally opposed to the idea of a Jewish homeland not so much that it was a Christian proposal, but it opposed Jewish tradition. The idea of any form of nationalism or statehood was, to all intents and purposes, inconceivable to the orthodox Jewish mind.
Historian, Michael Hoffman writes: Without divine permission, the rebuilding of the hypothetical Israelite commonwealth would be, as Spinoza had the prescience to foresee in the 17th century, dependent on the secularization of the Judaic people.
Baruch Spinoza (1632-1677) saw it as the only way for such a state to come into existence. His foresight was remarkable and caused a significant division within Jewry. As the acknowledged founder of Jewish Secularism; intellectuals of the period, greatly admired Spinoza for freeing Judaism from the restraints of religion. Once a victim of rabbinic persecution, he was now considered the well of inspiration for all Jews taking a stand against tradition; for paving the way and thinking of a new approach to Jewishness. It was this renaissance, which saw a worldlier approach to Judaism, and through it, the beginnings to imagine the impossible.
It was due largely to the efforts of Theodore Herzl (1860-1904) that momentum for a Jewish homeland was built. In his pamphlet, Der Judenstaat (The Jews’ State) published in Vienna in l896, he outlined the factors he believed had lead to a universal Jewish problem (his words). He proposed to address this supposed crisis by the exodus of unhappy and unwanted Jews (ditto) from Europe to a self-governing territory of their own. While this echoed the call of mainstream Christian Churches and supporting Governments, his pitch was in fact pre-dated by the American Blackstone Memorial of 1891; a petition signed by more than 430 leading Americans and supported by all major newspapers. Signees included Jewish banker, J. P. Morgan, industrialist John D. Rockefeller, also many members of Congress.
While, Blackstone was later mistakenly cited by Supreme Court Justice, Louis Brandeis, as the father of Zionism; it was Herzl who drove it forward with the support of William Hechler, Chaplain to the British Embassy in Vienna. An enthusiast, Hechler greatly assisted Herzl through his numerous diplomatic acquaintances, and consular links. Herzl also approached many influential Jewish families about his ideas. The following from his draft proposals, which clearly shows the secular-politick and rhetoric, becoming established in Zionism, was presented to the Rothschild Family Council:
I bring to the Rothschilds and the big Jews their historical mission. I shall welcome all men of goodwill – we must be united – and crush all those of bad. – Nothing prevents us from being and remaining the exponents of a united humanity, when we have a country of our own. To fulfill this mission we do not have to remain literally planted among the nations who hate and despite us. If, in our present circumstances, we wanted to bring about the unity of mankind independent of national boundaries, we would have to combat the ideal of patriotism. The latter however, will prove stronger than we for innumerable years to come. (Lowenthal: The Diaries of Theodor Herzl.)
While Theodore Herzl took the first steps, more radical figures were soon to take up the cause, largely brought about by the imprecise wording of the Balfour Declaration of 1917. The Declaration had committed the British Government to assist; only with the creation of an autonomous Jewish homeland in Palestine, not the supposed Jewish State many had hoped for. The new homeland as envisaged by Britain, would partition Palestine allowing for Egyptian, Arab and Jewish lands, along with the creation of the northern Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It would provide for Egypt to retain much of the Sinai and Gaza.
The debate on a Jewish homeland, verses a Jewish State now took center stage, which soon after split the membership. It was in this context, Ze’ev Vladimir Jabotinski founded the Zionist Revisionist Movement. It also brought to a head a loathing for Britain, believed by some to have gone back on its word, which they hadn’t. At the Zionist Congress of 1931, Jabotinski challenged the establishment, especially the statesmanlike approach of Chairman, Chaim Weizman. He opposed Weizman’s minimalist view and his opposition to the founding of a Jewish State by any means other than diplomacy: that it conflicted with any real possibility of actual progress. In the end, it came down to drawn out pragmatism verses more direct means. The revisionists more militant stand won the day. Yet, all were in agreement resettlement was primarily about security; it was how to achieve it that divided the conference.
While considered a firebrand by some, Jabotinski was in truth, a realist. He understood the Arabs were intrinsically tied to the land and would not give it up willingly. That they would see through any Jewish rhetoric to the contrary, of which there was much. As Jabotinski saw it, a more direct approach would be required to achieve their aims of a secure Jewish homeland. Not only did Zionists need to persuade the Arabs, they also needed to convince the world, theirs was a justifiable claim and one approach was to downplay the number of people living there.
Chaim Weizmann was one of many to speak of Palestine, as an unoccupied land waiting to be filled. Coinciding with the outbreak of the First World War, he said: there is a country which happens to be called Palestine, a country without a people, and, on the other hand, there exists the Jewish people, and it has no country. Although such statements are denied by Zionists as hateful and wicked, reliable historians, like Pastor of Bethlehem, Mitri Raheb, claim Zionists; even some supporting governments, (Britain and America) used this and similar language to present Palestine as empty, even though there were roughly a million people (mainly Arabs) living there at the time.
While it is correct Ottoman influence had lessened since the Turko-Egyptian wars, and Palestine was for a short time without any form of Government, it was certainly not empty. In fact the migration of Jews to Palestine had seen a continual, if small stream over the centuries, increasing in the 1920’s with 42,000 new arrivals by 1924, which lived peacefully with their long established Arab neighbours. The 1931 British census accounted for around 760,000 Muslims, 90,000 Christians, and approximately 175,000 Jews. But, in 1948, after several years of guerrilla warfare against local Arabs and mandated British forces, Zionist militia began driving out 700,000 Palestinians to make way for an expected influx of a million Ashkenazi Jewish settlers from Russia and Eastern Europe.
They pushed the people of the land to the margins…
The (Really) Strong Delusion:
The Restoration Delusion:
O to see the sight, next to Christ’s coming in the clouds the most joyful! Our elder brethren the Jews and Christ fall upon each other’s necks and kiss each other! They have long been asunder; they will be kind to one another when they meet. O day! O longed-for and lovely day-dawn! (Samuel Rutherford)
That Jews would embrace Christ Jesus and His Gospel, was the fervent hope at the time of Rutherford’s prayer. John Owen wrote …wherein the generality of the nation of the Jews, all the world over, shall be called and effectually brought to the knowledge of the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ. The English pastor John Gill; and like minded Baptists, Keach and Spurgeon, shared this view as did William Pitt, William Wilberforce, John Newton, Wesley and John Darby, in harmony with a great many influential leaders across United Kingdom and Europe.
Restoration and conversion was the central theme for Dispensationalists eager for a Jewish homeland. But as history clearly shows, it was not to be; the reason is obvious now and should have been then, as the facts of the matter have been in evidence over many centuries… but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you. I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father. (John 8:37-38)
Jews simply don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah as foretold by the Prophets: they didn’t believe when He was here, and they don’t believe Him now: art thou greater than our father Abraham, who died? And the prophets died; whom dost thou make thyself? (Jn 8:53) The followers of Judaism do not believe Jesus met the terms of Prophesy as received by the Christian Church.
When measured against the Laws of Judaism, the acceptance of Jesus Christ is seen as a contamination of their faith; much of which is of our own making directly tied to Nicaea. As Jewish thought has always opposed the errant Christian idea of a triune divinity, practicing Jews will never come to any type of reconciliation as imagined by the Church, then or now; any religion that divides the singularity of God is deemed abhorrent. In Judges (15:16) we find Samson slew a thousand men with the jawbone of an ass. Religious Jews believe the fourth century Christian concept of God, was built by the same tool…
Christian supporters of the Zionist State, including Christian television and radio broadcasters, either ignore the facts, or have been blinded to the truth; the Jews will continually refuse the Christ they preach. The Talmud clearly states that if any man claims to be God, or part of God, he is a liar. This was the mindset of the Pharisees and continues today. In Judaism, only the Messiah can bring in the Messianic age; gather the Jews and rebuild the temple. He will reign, and have the world know the wrongs done the Jews in war, peace and in the name of the Church and Christ. According to Jewish Law, Jesus did none of these things, was therefore an imposter, and will be rejected forever.
There is also much confusion within Christianity regarding the return of Jesus, most of which has been tied to the co-called, Restoration. Dispensational Christians believe the return of Christ is in some way dependant on the restoration of the Jews to Palestine, tied also to the revealing of the Man of Sin. This is seriously wayward thinking: but the greater error made by Zionist Christians is not knowing the true origin of the Jews they support. That all Jews today are the lineal descendants of Judah, Benjamin or Levi is deeply flawed. Their actual parentage points in a very different direction.
The irony is quite profound that Christian Zionists have supported ‘the return’ of a people to Palestine who never came from there in the first place. The bulk of Jews today have no ancestral link to ancient Israel, or indeed the Jews and Pharisees as portrayed in the New Testament. They are a foreign people that adopted the Babylonian Talmud in the eighth century, and have become the vanguard of modern Jewry and Judaism: they are the Ashkenazim, descended from the Khazars of Eastern Europe.
The Jews Delusion:
A people of Turkish origin whose life and history are interwoven with the very beginnings of the history of the Jews of Russia … driven on by the nomadic tribes of the Steppes and by their own desire for plunder and revenge … In the second half of the sixth century the Chazars moved westward …
The kingdom of the Chazars was firmly established in most of South Russia long before the foundations of the Russian Monarchy by the Varangian in 855. At this time the kingdom of the Chazars stood at the height of its power and was constantly at war…
At the end of the eighth century … the chagan (king) of the Chazars and his grandees, together with a large number of his heathen people, embraced the Jewish religion … The Jewish population in the entire domain of the Chazars, in the period between the seventh and tenth centuries, must have been considerable… about the ninth century…
It appears as if all the Chazars were Jews and that they had been converted to Judaism only a short time before… It was one of the successors of Bulan named Obadiah, who regenerated the kingdom and strengthened the Jewish religion. He invited Jewish scholars to settle in his dominions, and founded Synagogues and schools. The people were instructed in the *bible, Mishnah and the Talmud and in the `divine service of the hazzanim’… In their writings the Chazars used the Hebrew letters … the Chazar languages predominated … (* for Bible, think Books of Moses, Kings and Chronicles.)
Obadiah was succeeded by his son Isaac; Isaac by his son Moses (or Manasseh II); the latter by his son Nisi; and Nisi by his son Aaron II. King Joseph himself was a son of Aaron, and ascended the throne in accordance with the Law of the Chazars relating to succession … The king had twenty-five wives, all of royal blood, and sixty concubines, all famous beauties; each one slept in a separate tent and was watched by a eunuch. This seems to have been the beginning of the downfall of the Chazar kingdom …
The Russian Varangians established themselves at Kiev … until the final conquest of the Chazars by the Russians … After a hard fight the Russians conquered the Chazars … Four years later the Russians conquered all the Chazarian territory east of the Azov … many members of the Chazarian royal family went to Spain … Some went to Hungary, but the great mass of the people remained in their native country. (Vol 4: The Jewish Encyclopaedia.)
The above extracts point to the origin of the European Jews of the middle ages: the foundation of the Ashkenaz, and modern Judaism. The Khazars were an Asiatic-Mongol people now recognized as Turco-Fins. Authorities agree they originated in eastern Asia Minor and are related to the Turks. (Some have suggested an Edomite connection.) Due to their belligerent nature they were pushed out of the area by the Tribes of the Steppes into Eastern Europe. The Khazars found it easy to subdue a number of peaceful agrarian nations, mainly Slavs and the ancestors of modern Hungary, the Magyars.
Their homeland covered approximately 1,000,000 square miles of what is now Southern Russia and Ukraine. They established a powerful kingdom, made wealthy by extortion and piracy, through their control of the major rivers and waterways. The reason they adopted Talmudism was due to mounting pressure from their Christian and Muslim neighbours to change their ways.
After meeting with Byzantine Christians, a Muslim delegation, and Rabbis from Babylon; Bulan, ruler of the Khazars named the Babylonian Religion as their state religion of choice: rejecting Islam (which slowed its advance in the region) and Christianity. The Talmud became the official religious teaching, and as recorded by historians of the day, the Khazarian Kingdom was soon after known as: the Kingdom of the Jews. In the mid eighth century, the Khazars adopted the religion founded at the time of Judah’s Babylonian exile and rejected by Christ: the doctrine of the Pharisee.
Successive rulers took Jewish and Old Testament names to further cement their new ideals: Talmudism became their byword. Their magical six pointed star also underwent a change, seen later as a decorative motif on the heraldic flag of the Jews in Prague in 1527. The more recent Star of David, credited to Zionist, David Wolffsohn, uses the blue of the prayer shawl to border the once feared, Khazarian Star. Claimed by Zionists as the Shield of David, (Magen David) the top and tail overlaid triangles have no link to David whatsoever: it is pure invention. Shield is mentioned 20 times in the Psalms, and Star 15 times in Scripture; twice in the Old Testament, 13 in the New. None refer to David.
The notable Jewish historian, Prof. Graetz wrote of them: The Chazars professed a coarse religion, which was combined with sensuality and lewdness … After Obadiah, came a long series of Jewish Chagans, for according to a fundamental law of the state only Jewish rulers were permitted to ascend the throne … For some time the Jews of other countries had no knowledge of the conversion of this powerful kingdom to Judaism. (Graetz: Origin and History of the Jews in Eastern Europe)
The following extract from Arthur Koestler’s seminal work, The Thirteenth Tribe: The Khazar Empire and its Heritage, clearly places much for us to consider regarding the origins of contemporary Jewry; European Jewry, Judaism, Zionism, and the modern State of Israel.
The mainstream of Jewish migrations did not flow from the Mediterranean across France and Germany to the East then back again. The stream moved in a consistently westerly direction, from the Caucasus through the Ukraine into Poland and thence into Central Europe. When that unprecedented mass-settlement in Poland came into being, there were simply not enough Jews around in the west to account for it; while in the east a whole nation was on the move to new frontiers. It would of course be foolish to deny that Jews of different origin also contributed to the existing Jewish world-community.
The numerical ratio of the Khazar to the Semitic and other contributions is impossible to establish. But the cumulative evidence makes one inclined to agree with the consensus of Polish historians that ‘in earlier times the main bulk originated from the Khazar country’; and that, accordingly, the Khazar contribution to the genetic make-up of the Jews must be substantial, and in all likelihood dominant. Khazaria, a conglomerate of Aryan Turkic tribes, was finally wiped out by the forces of Genghis Khan, but evidence indicates that the Khazars themselves migrated to Poland and formed the cradle of Western Jewry…’ (Koestler: The Thirteenth Tribe: The Khazar Empire and its Heritage: 1976)
Koestler is not alone, several Jewish academics, have written about their Khazarian roots. In his 2009 book, The Invention of the Jewish People –‘Those who say they are Jews and are not’ Shlomo Sand, professor of history at Tel Aviv University, raised the ire of many in Israel and America, who would prefer their once secret Khazarian origin, quietly go away. But like all such history, it is what it is, stuff that actually happened in the past.
Review:
The errant belief that Jews would become Christians as imagined by Dispensationalists and Christian Zionists is born of ignorance: but not condemnation. For this was an age when Israel was hidden from men; not the worldly state, which eventuated, but the Israel of God. If the correct understanding of the terminology given in Scripture was more common knowledge, none of this may have transpired. If their actual origin was known: that the Jews of today are a proselyte people, and not the descendants of Judah, Benjamin or Levi, perhaps we would be living in an entirely different world. But, we now live in a time caused by misguided men and women who gave momentum to one of the greatest travesties to befall mankind: the Zionist age.
Since its inception, Zionist Jews from Eastern Europe and Russia, have brought, not only untold sorrow to millions, but through the godless Bolshevik Revolution, which they initiated; caused the murder of the Christian Tsar and his family, and the deaths of forty million Russian Christians, and countless Orthodox Jews who stood in their way. Ashkenazi Jews were ultimately responsible for the birth of Socialism, Communism, Zionism and the modern State of Israel. And that’s just the half of it! The failing, which allows these things to arise, is acting upon the things of God without full knowledge of history or Scripture; triggered by the myriad opinions rooted in today’s fractured church system. And while reasoned judgement is not a bad thing of itself, when it is based in error from the outset, nothing good can come of it. The rise of secular Zionism can be laid at the door of a denominational Christianity, which knowingly or not, has rejected the full and true Word of God. By building errant doctrine, the Churches are now blinded to an undemanding, yet wonderful truth: the LORD’S Kingdom is already here, and no Jews were required in the making of it!
The rejection of the pure Gospel has become our downfall. Paul taught the Ephesians: one Lord, one Faith, and one Baptism. Peter declared at Pentecost, Jesus is both Lord and Christ. We have trampled on this truth and built a God of our own design, as we refuse to see, and refuse to hear. (Read Isaiah 9:6; Matt 1:23; Acts 2:36) We preach a gospel built of this world, and not of Christ’s Kingdom. We have become a ‘Prosperity’ and Secular Christianity. The plagues that follow our sin have killed not only our love for one another, but have also blinded us to the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ. Its cause is the world we inhabit, which has shaped our lives in unimagined ways; a door opened by misguided men who wrongly believed Jesus could only return when the Jews occupied Palestine. They blindly walked where angels fear to tread, and in doing so, laid the ground for Christian materialism and a tradition that is not our own… and what shapes American values, shapes the World.
Jewish heritage has shaped who we are, all of us, as much or more than any other factor in the last 223 years. And that’s a fact; the truth is that Jewish heritage, Jewish culture, Jewish values are such an essential part of who we are that it’s fair to say that Jewish heritage is American heritage. Think – behind of all that, I bet you 85 percent of those (social-political) changes, whether it’s in Hollywood or social media are a consequence of Jewish leaders in the industry. This Jewish role in attitudinal change was noted by Pulitzer Prize winner, and drama critic, Walter Kerr in 1968. In The New York Times, he remarked:
What has happened since World War II is that the American sensibility has become part Jewish, perhaps as much Jewish as anything else. The literate American mind has come in some measure to think ‘Jewishly.’ It has been taught to, and it was ready to. After the entertainers and novelists came the Jewish critics, politicians and theologians. Critics and politicians and theologians are by profession molders; they form ways of seeing.
It is undeniable American-Jewish culture is the progeny of Christian Dispensationalism as set down by the puritan, Owen and the teachings of Darby. It has brought forth a new Jewish-Christian mind: and with it, the undoing of the Christian faith as taught by the Apostles and Paul. For without the influence of this skewed ideology of the 18th and 19th century, Secular Jewishness as we know it today, would very likely not exist. Their drive to bring Jews to Christ has not only rebounded, but given rise to the world we now inhabit: a door opened by the blind, hand in hand with the ill-informed. And while well-intentioned, they were completely out of touch with the Prophets, the Gospels, and God.
The Second Coming Delusion:
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. (Isaiah 45:7)
The Second Coming with its implied, Rapture of the Saints (which came from the Jesuits) is the saddest of all delusions Christians labour under. It is the work of the one without pity: revealed by Paul as the god of this world who has blinded men. He plays in our mind and is part of our being. He was made by the LORD, was present in Eden, and is His servant. We all carry his ‘seed,’ which he planted in Adam and Eve when they fell to his deception. He is the darkness, so we know there is light …he is the LORD’S agent of choice, sewn into us all.
The millennium debate has become dominant in the Churches as we consider our hope in Christ, and our future. The errant rapture of the saints has given false hope to many, as they look to the heavens for a sign of His coming, and to the world for the appearance of a despot to rule the nations. This is a ruse with many interlocking parts, and while it may appear to be a future soon to unfold; it is not. None of it has anything to do with the return of Jesus as told by the Prophets, Apostles and by Jesus himself.
The man of sin, the tribulation, the mark of the beast, the falling away and of course, the anti-Christ, are all matters, which concern us here and now. But, first we will consider these words from Paul:
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto him-self: not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. (2Cor 5:17-21)
Therefore, if the old is passed away and as Paul writes; we are a new creature, re-established and rebuilt in the image of God, what need His return if He is already resident in our mind and spirit?
Peter writes, for the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begins at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? (1Pe 4:17) So, if we are the house of God, His dwelling place; then we are His tabernacle.
Jesus told us of His Kingdom. He told Pontius Pilot it was not of this world, and instructed every one of us to seek it. The Pharisees, expecting the renewal of David’s Kingdom, demanded He tell them when it would come, they pressed for an answer, just as we seek an answer. They were given one they did not expect, or for that matter, understand: The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:20-21)
Jesus told all believers that He would come again and never leave. And gave us His name when he said, I will send the Comforter. Christ’s kingdom is already established in those that believe.
But, yes, as stated in the New Testament, the LORD will return in like-manner to His leaving: and the saints will be gathered to meet Him in the air. But this is no gentle Jesus that will come; this is no lenient Father we will see; this is not any secret and silent rapture to behold; this is no Kingdom on Earth to be set: He comes with a shout, with the voice of an Archangel; and with the trumpet of God. He comes to Judge! Every knee will bend at His presence, and every heart will tremble at the sight of Him. He is the Ever-Living LORD God Almighty… He who lives yet was dead: who lives forevermore: who made all things: the divider of your soul and spirit, and He that holds the keys to hell and death. This is our God, who bears the Name above all names: the Lord Jesus Christ we will see in His Glory.
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. (Matt 24:30-31) Amen.
We wait in hope for the return of Jesus, as it seems He only can restore the world to a place free of war, want, and distress. It is a fundamental driver within the modern Christian Church: the new hope; a new beginning, and a new peace on Earth. However, it is not what the Scripture actually says, but our own imaginings. If we had lived according to His Commands and not rejected them, the world we inhabit would be heaven on earth. There would be no want, no famine, no hardship, and no conflict. But we have rejected His guidelines and now live by its consequence. We make what should be simple; complex and baffling, and we see the same confusion with our misreading of the Mark of the Beast.
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. (Rev 13:18) By ignoring the first three words of this verse, there is no wisdom in assuming it’s the Devil’s number. Six hundred threescore and six is the number of a man, it is our number; it is of the earth, as we are of the earth. It speaks of the man of sin: you and I, for all have sinned.
The anti-Christ is simply anyone set against His Gospel and His teaching. The tribulation we must endure is coming to terms with our relationship with God, as Job did. The LORD is the potter and we are the clay. He is our King, we are His subjects. He is the Ever-Living God and we His creation. It is not, cannot, and has never been, the other way round. We must follow the example of Job and repent in the dust and the ashes of our failing.
Therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. Hear: I beseech thee, and I will speak. I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me. I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes. (Job 42:1-6)
The Israel Delusion:
I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. (Isa 66:4)
In November 1968, the Jerusalem Post published the results of their survey: Who or what is a Jew? 12% answered on parenthood or marriage; 19% parenthood or conversion to Judaism; 23% said belief: If I believe I’m a Jew then I am; 12% said the observance of Jewish practices; 13% identified with the State of Israel; 11% answered being raised a Jew; and 10% of respondents did not know who or what a Jew is. But, today most Jews associate their Jewishness with the so-named, Holocaust, which in terms of history is a very recent event. Why?
Most, believe the Jews of today are the descendants of Biblical Israel. Many also presume the ten tribes taken captive by the Assyrians were later assimilated by surrounding nations after their exile. This is incorrect. We have seen the Khazar nation adopted Judaism in the eighth century as their official state religion. It is the descendants of the Khazars that comprise the bulk of Israel today. Surviving progeny of the remnant of Judah and Benjamin expelled by Rome in 70AD, accounts for only a fraction of today’s Jews. The State of Israel is racially diverse due to a history of assimilation, redistribution, and proselytization over many centuries. Conversely, over 3 million Israelites left the region prior to 560BC, migrating west under a variety of names including Cimmerians, Scythians, Gatae, Celts, Galliae, and Sacasene, to eventually settle in Central and Western Europe, and the British Isles.
The current predisposition of Israel towards the Palestinian Arabs does not have the backing of all its residents. This has resulted in much internal dissent with frequent arrests and imprisonments. Many Israeli human rights activists supporting the Palestinians, are imprisoned and denied due legal and medical help for extended periods, as confirmed by Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International. Several present-day Jewish writers have written about what is really going on in Palestine, and have left Israel for their personal safety. The State of Israel is in many ways an enigma. It is not, as most imagine a Middle Eastern country. It is a European country in the Middle East, where the Ashkenazi Jews are the ruling class; most others seen as second-class citizens, or less. Israeli apartheid is driven by the same conviction that fuels every form of it, professed racial superiority and discrimination. This mindset was the instrument of death for millions in Russia, and which continues to impose its malevolence today. All of Israel’s neighbours have felt its presence, one way or another. This progeny come down from the Khazarian Kingdom is extremely dangerous to children, animals and all living things… These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to which the mist of darkness is reserved for ever. (2Peter 2:17)
The Great Lie:
The most disturbing outcome within the Israel Delusion is the majority of Christians (and others) now believe Jesus was a Jew. There are numerous books and articles, which build on this fallacy but sadly few that, refute it. So, we will look to Scripture, to see why the Lord Jesus Christ is categorically not Jewish. And when we have taken only a cursory glance at the question, you will see how absurd this notion actually is. The Prophet Hosea stated my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, (Hos 4:6) which, in the context of this subject, has to be one of the greatest understatements of all time!
Now, I appreciate this will be difficult for some, as I expect the foregoing has been a challenge for many. So, for a clear understanding we must review the precise genealogy of the Son of Man, and then visit the family tree of His ancestors. There can be no debate when we rely on the inspired Word of God given through the Prophets and Evangelists. It is a straightforward decision; you either believe it or you don’t. In this matter, there is no convenient middle ground. However, if you claim to be a follower of Jesus Christ, believe the Holy Bible to be true, and yet do not accept the Word of God as truth, you have a serious issue of faith to put to rights.
Edenites:
As recorded in the first few chapters of Genesis; Edenites are those who existed on Earth prior to the formation of Israel. They are the direct descendants of Adam, formed by God, from whom Eve came. Along with Adam and Eve, are Abel and Cain, who was expelled from Eden for killing his brother. Soon after, Eve gave birth to Seth who later had a son named, Enos; it was Enos who first began to call upon the Name of the LORD after the events in Eden. The last of the Edenites were Noah, his sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth, and their families. (No Jews here)
Hebrews:
The first Hebrew was Abram (Abraham). The name; Hebrew comes from Eber in Mesopotamia, the region of his birth. His direct ancestor was Shem. It also signifies (literally and figuratively) he crossed over into Canaan. Abraham’s descendants remain Hebrews until, Jacob. Hebrews is also a broad term to describe the lineage of Abraham as seen in the New Testament letter from Paul. (Still no Jews)
Israelites:
The first Israelite descended from Abraham, was Jacob. His name was changed to Is-ra-el by God after he wrestled with a man: the Angel of the LORD. The first Israelite by birth was Reuben, whose mother was Leah. All of Jacob’s sons are Israelites (sons of Israel) and it is these and their families that journeyed to Egypt, and then settled in Goshen at the time of the great famine. They were later taken into slavery by the Egyptians.
Over the next several hundred years, the Israelites grew in number, becoming a substantial people and a great nation. Upon leaving Egypt under the leadership of Moses and Aaron, they crossed the Sea held back by the LORD; arrived and rested in Midian, and were later given the Law on God’s Holy Mountain; (Exo 3:1; 3:12) Mt. Herob (No Jews here either)
After leaving the region, (Deut 1:6;19) they wandered forty years in the wilderness as the LORD purged the evil generation (for worshiping the golden calf) before entering Canaan. Now established in their new homeland, they confidently established their borders and became known as the Kingdom of Israel. And, while the LORD loved, Solomon their most righteous kings were, David and Josiah. But, all was not well. Around 800BC, and due to their continual lapses, the Kingdom of Israel was divided into two Houses, and both Houses were afterward sent into exile by the LORD. And even though the ten-tribed House of Israel was no longer in the region (or Scripture) after their removal by the Assyrians; the names Israelite and Israel remain up to, and throughout the ministry of Jesus on Earth. New Testament Jews:
At the time of the return of Judah and Benjamin from Babylon in 521BC, the Ptolemaic Kingdom; a fusion of Egyptian and Greek cultures, was in control of Judea. The population was ethnically diverse, owing to wars, trade, assimilations, and the re-populating of the North by the Assyrians, who brought in a variety of peoples from throughout Mesopotamia to replace the House of Israel. (2Kings 17:24) The small number of Judah that returned from seventy years in Babylon (Jer 29:10; Dan 9:2) became part of this mix. They did though live separately, alienated by their new Pharisaic religion. Everyone who lived in the Province of Judea was Judean by location. Other groups living in the province included Chaldeans, Parthians, Edomites, Egyptians, and Greeks; later joined by the Romans.
The Christ:
The lineage of Jesus from Adam; down through Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Judah and David, is recorded in both the Old and New Testaments. The reason why all those begats and son of were written down is to show continuity. Like any lineage it is to prove legitimacy, connection and belonging. The ancestry of Christ from David, (Son of David) Judah (the Kingship) and Jacob (the Promise) clearly demonstrates the Israelite line of Jesus through men. Luke (3:23-38) takes us back through Isaac, Abraham, Shem, Noah and Enoch, where we arrive at Adam, the origin of Jesus on Earth. When we look past Adam we find…
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)
Yet, in terms of our molding to think ‘Jewishly,’ the judgment of most people has been skewed when looking at the history of both Jesus and Israel. It has been driven by two fundamentals, legitimacy and ancestry: to convince Christians and the world at large, the Jews of today derive from the same stock as Jesus. It has succeeded so well, that most people now believe the Israelis are the genuine descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; a view forged by Jewish, and errant Christian teaching.
By not paying attention to Paul’s wise counsel to rightly divide the word of truth; (2Tim 2:15) Christian congregations have all fallen victim to this ruse. Correctly stated by Paul as Jewish fables that turn from the truth, this false teaching has led to the final insult that Jesus: the same, Peter declared God has made both Lord and Christ… (Acts 2:36) is now a descendant of supposed Jewish Israelites. This is plain foolishness, when the true parentage of Jesus is declared in both Old and New Testaments, and Messiahship is affirmed in Christ by the Prophets, Evangelists; Peter, Paul and John.
Yet, even though we know in our heart the idea of a Jewish Jesus is unadulterated fiction, we prefer to believe men ahead of God and in doing so ignore the record of Matthew and Luke, which contains not only His lineage, but also the manner of His conception. While He was born into the Tribe of Judah as foretold by the prophets, the life-blood of Jesus was sparked by the intervention of the Holy Spirit. Paul placed it perfectly: the first man was of the earth, the second man is the Lord from Heaven. (1Cor 15:47) And while He came for the people He was born into, He was rejected by them and ultimately murdered at the insistence of law-bound Pharisees to fulfill the Law and the Prophets.
When Jesus said, many would come using His Name, it was a solemn warning about the deceitful acts of men throughout the ages. By sanctioning the Jewishness of Jesus via their PR machinery and Media Empire, the Pharisees of the New Age are stealing salvation from God fearing folk without them even knowing. They have corrupted the truth of Scripture by their sleight of hand.
The unbroken line of Jesus on earth began around 4000BC when Adam was formed. The advent of the Jews and Pharisees began during their exile, around 600BC, at Babylon. Modern Judaism had its beginnings in the middle Ages reflected in the ensuing growth of the Talmud, Mishnah and Gemara. And, in line with the improvement of writing and printing, and the on-going development and maturity of cultures and peoples; language and alphabets continued to evolve over the centuries.
The letter J fell into regular use in the mid eighteenth century. It wasn’t until after J became common, the Jews of the New Testament came to be known by that name. Prior to then, the word, Jew as we know it today did not exist in written form. Earlier Bibles identified the Jews at the time of Christ with a name beginning with the letter, I. The evolving of alphabets and language, and the revision of the King James in 1769 opened the door to J, and the new English word; Jew. It was in 1769 we got the locality, Judea; the city, Jerusalem; and the Name, Jesus all beginning with a J. By early editors confusing the Greek words for the land and people of Judea, and with the later corruption and truncation of the Latin, Iudaeus we ended up with a people called Jews. And as the people were now Jews, and Jesus was a Judean, He also became a Jew. He was in fact, God with us! (Matt 1:23)
Believing they could show, Jesus was of Jewish ancestry, Zionist Jews could now show the relationship between Jesus and His ancestral line; the rationale being His Jewishness must naturally flow back to Abraham who was categorically not a Jew, he wasn’t even an Israelite! Just as the Jesuits set in place the false doctrine of the Secret Rapture, certain rabbis set about convincing Christianity that Jesus was just like them; sharing the same ancestry they did, which is absolute garbage, and on so many levels. They shamelessly used the Lord Jesus Christ to aid their fraudulent claim to the land of His birth; the land He evicted them from.
While they state repeatedly, Jesus could never be the Messiah, they can’t live without Him. He is the essential conduit to keep their feigned legitimacy alive. These proselyte offspring from the Khazarian Kingdom have no ancestral, rightful, or historical claim to Palestine, whatsoever. Their presence there is a slight against God, directly challenging Him, as Satan once did in the very same place. They have managed to convince all of Christendom that black is actually white. 5: Zion:
By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion. We hung our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof. For there, they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us, required of us mirth, saying, sing us one of the songs of Zion. How shall we sing the LORD’S song in a strange land? (Psa 137:1-4)
That the term Zionism was first coined by the Austrian, Nathan Birnbaum to express an ideology, and a new way of thinking in terms of Palestine, is the consensus among scholars. Zionism derives from Zion, a hill in David’s City of Jerusalem: the City of the House of God. It is a corruption of the word. A true Zionist would know who Christ is, and honour Him accordingly.
Zion had great meaning to ancient Israel and the Prophets as a holy place: for it was there, David and Israel sang the LORD’S song. It was at Zion Jesus was presented at the temple on the eighth day, and where He later preached His Gospel. The LORD’S song, was given to Israel by Moses; amplified by David in the Psalms, and confirmed by Jesus as the greatest of all Commandments given to men. The LORD’S song declares the Existing One: I AM.
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: (Deut 6:4-6)
And Jesus answered him; the first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; the LORD our God is one LORD. (Mark 12:29) The rest of the Command, as stated by Jesus and earlier by Moses is how we must honour it.
Now, David laments; how shall we sing the Great Command in a strange land? While we that hold it as truth live in the world, it is the strange land of David, void of desire for the righteous Word of the Ever-Living God. The Song of Moses is rejected by the Churches who have built their own God, making the fullness of the Great Command redundant in this age. Once sung in the Congregations of Israel, it has been cast off by and trampled by the Trinity Creed, even though, Paul declared, Jesus is the same yesterday, and today, and forever. (Heb 13:8)
Isaiah declared: Therefore thus sayeth the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: (Isa 28:16) Jesus is that precious corner; the foundation, the gracious cornerstone and the Rock of our faith.
Now, watch carefully. Isaiah also said: for the people shall dwell ‘in’ Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: ‘he’ will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when ‘he’ shall hear it, ‘he’ will answer thee. (Isa 30:19) Christ Jesus is the sure foundation lain, for it is in Him we dwell. He is Zion who will be, gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry. A true Zionist therefore, loves the Lord Jesus Christ and keeps His commands. The same foundation was declared by Isaiah when he declared the virgin birth to come, and gave us the Names and Titles of the one to be born: Wonderful Counsellor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6) In His Revelation to John, Jesus opened for all, with the wisdom to see and hear, who He actually is:
I am the root and the offspring of David. The Bright, the morning Star… I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. (Rev 21:6-7)
Let’s look at that again: “I will be his God and he shall be my son.” Jesus is the Existing One: ho Kyrios Iesous Christos – the Lord Jesus Christ. (See John 8)
The Israel of God:
Now, we come to the heart of the matter. The Lord Jesus Christ will not be diminished. It is we, who are lessened if we think we can shape His words to suit our imaginings, and raise ourselves above Him. Our actions seem to confirm this is so, when we make a foreign people, a chosen people. We openly ignore what the LORD has told us of Himself, and build a God that suits us better, taking comfort in the rituals of men. This is a delusion. It follows, we must change our thinking.
Get to know the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Word He planted in His prophets; Peter, Paul, and John, not what others tell you of Him. Read His Book and learn what He wants you to know about Him, and equally important, about you. Only then, will you begin to see the truth of Christ, and LORD willing, the truth of His Israel.
For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. (Gal 6:13-16)
The man-made State of Israel and the LORD’S Israel are as different as night and day. One is brazen, the other humble. One craves approval, the other veiled and unassuming. One is masculine and bullish; the other is dutiful and feminine. And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Rev 21:2)
The bride adorned for her husband, is not the Church, Ecclesia as taught by the mainstream. She is not Israel, ancient or modern. The bride is not a nun in the Catholic Church. She can be none of these things, for she is come down out of heaven. She is not of this world. Yet, the bride is a Church and the bride is of Israel: and the bride is a woman. And there came unto me one of the seven angels … and talked with me saying, come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife. (Rev 21:9)
The Lamb’s wife has separated herself from this world. She is unrecognizable when viewed through the lens of doctrine and creed. She keeps the faith of her husband and honours Him only. Her mind and heart are pure; she is sealed and washed clean in the blood of the Lamb by her faith. And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun and the moon under her feet; and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. (Rev 12:1)
The sun she is clothed in is the Gospel; the greater light of the Word, the husband she loves: it is her adornment of splendor that shines out into the world. The lesser light is the moon under her feet; the Law she has transcended by her faith. The twelve stars: the crown upon her head, show us who she is. She is the LORD’S possession: the New Jerusalem in which the LORD dwells. She is the Israel of God, and knows the Name of her Salvation, which she carries on her lips. The woman, clothed with the sun is immune to the strong delusion. She has repented of her sin…
Now, the Israel of God is not the supposed ‘chosen people,’ which is nonsense, they are of the promise. While ancient Israel was a blessed people when they kept the Commands of God, the suggestion of a chosen race is erroneous: they were a favoured people. Paul writes: But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. (Tit 3:9) In other words, ancestry means nothing in Christ. The LORD’S possession is counted for a seed by their faith, foreknown of God before the foundation of the world. They are made free in Christ Jesus.
But it is not as though the word of God hath come to naught. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: neither, because they are Abraham’s seed are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, it is not the children of the flesh that are children of God; but the children of the promise are counted for a seed. (Rom 9:6-8)
But in a world where delusion reigns, we are chained by creeds, laws, and wayward teaching. Paul impeccably lays out this age and the hearts of men … Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
This is the binding we labour under; an illusion, for it is not what we think it is. We have been deceived into believing it is something outward, when it is something inward … Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
And now ye know what with-holds that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Thes 2:3-12)
This is where Paul shows us our failing; it is the very heart of the strong delusion. He speaks to our state of mind, to all manner of worldliness governing our lives in this age, which takes away from the truth of Christ and His Gospel. It speaks to our self-delusion. Paul’s ministry was to build the church, keep it in the faith, and to guide and correct when necessary; this is about correction, and only correction. It is not about anything else. The falling away is ours: he that sits in the temple of God is our unbelief: the wickedness is ours, for we are the temple of God. Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwells in you? (1Cor 3:16) Paul calls for our realignment, to face up to the deceits of Nicaea, (the mystery of iniquity doth already work) and put to rights our relationship with the one who made all things. And as confirmed by Peter, (1Pe 4:17) judgement must first begin at the house of God. Therefore, it must start in us.
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? (Unbelief) For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2Cor 6:16-18)
The LORD’S possession has no agreement with such things: for they know Christ’s kingdom lives within them. They touch not the unclean things that denigrate the Gospel; the idolatry of creeds and church laws, which do not resonate with God’s word in them. They come out from the Secular Christianity of this world. Now; see how, Isaiah called ancient Israel to account for the very same falling away. And like Paul, Isaiah speaks of self-delusion and blindness. He speaks of tailoring a religion to our own ends, with words that don’t offend our sensibilities. Isaiah speaks to the hardening of our hearts, its consequence, and like today, another gospel and itching ears.
Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for-ever and ever: That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the LORD: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us. (Isa 30:8-11)
Little has changed. We daily place ourselves ahead of the Holy One of Israel ignoring the fact that He is our King. Yet, there are those of the seed that see beyond the wiles of this world, holding fast to His steadfast Word. They are the ‘the saints’ of the kingdom; who keep the Commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Rev 14:12) They remove themselves from traditions, ritual and tainted theology; they just believe. Jesus himself declared this seed when His spirit moved Peter to reveal them…
Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace be multiplied. Blessed, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you: who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation …ready to be revealed in the last time. (1:1:2-5)
The LORD’S Israel has been kept through each Church Age. They sing the Song of Moses and they keep a clean and simple faith. It follows they cannot go after dogma and creed. It is impossible for them, for no man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. (Matt 6:24) Therefore, the Trinity Creed is rejected by them, not only as it debases the LORD, because it goes against their very nature.
And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. (Rev 18:4)
Like the Seals, the Trumpets and the Man of Sin; the revealing of the Bride, heralds the end of the age. Israel is coming out of the denominational church system; being gathered by the LORD, and ‘to’ the LORD. They believe only the pure Gospel of Christ Jesus, and His Word by the Prophets. They intuitively know the Kingdom of God comes without observation and rests within them. They are baptised into His Name, and not His titles of Father, Son and Holy Ghost. They cling to the Spirit of Christ who spoke through Peter: …repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38)
They are Israel; the LORD’S possession and are sealed in His name by the Water, the Blood, and the Spirit.
The Sum of the Delusion:
The House of Judah was expelled from Jerusalem for their sin, and like the ten tribes of Israel, were scattered into the nations. Their sin was great; they crucified the one who came for them. And one shall say unto him, what are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer: those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. (Zec 13:6) The Jews of the first century rejected Him; the Jews of today do the same.
Beginning in the 17th Century, Church leaders set about their task of rejecting the wisdom of God by finding the Jews a home in Palestine. Their Restorationist belief set the World on a course from which there was no return, its consequence has been untold misery, killing and conflict. Wars have come out of it: Communism, Socialism, Zionism, and the collapse of the Middle East can be laid at its door. If not for the rise of Secular Jewishness, which spurred the growth of modern Arab Nationalism, none of this may have transpired. The fathers of Restorationism paved the way for the present State of Israel founded by worldly socialists. A State not born of Jewish desire, but through errant Christian theology, which give rise to the national-socialist Zionism we know today.
The legacy of Restorationism is global dissonance, fractured Christianity, and failure. Their blunder was to believe they knew the mind of God, when they didn’t even know the fullness of Scripture or for that matter their own history, and by this error laid the ground for the great lie that Jesus was a Jew, when He is in fact, the Lord from Heaven. (1Cor 15:47)
Dispensationalists championed a proselyte people, not the descendants of Jacob they imagined. It was a foolish and devastating mistake. Early Christian Zionists, and those that now support the Zionist State of Israel, have been seduced by the delusion they were doing God’s work, when God’s only work is to believe! Instead of looking inward, they looked at the things of this world. In place of learning all there was to know about the Lord Jesus Christ, they instead support a people who despise Him and all He represents. For this reason, the LORD has blinded them in their ignorance.
While Dispensationalists may have set out with good intention, believing their endeavour was worthy, its bitter fruit is self-evident. Adolf Hitler started out with the best of intentions to rebuild a united Catholic Germany; Ibn al Wahhab, started out with good intention to purge Islam of impurities, and Ignatius Loyola set out in all good purpose to counter the rebels of Christian Rome: all resulting in unmitigated carnage. Good intent or purpose is no excuse when it plumbs the depths, as the sowing of Christian and Secular Zionism has done.
In Isaiah, we find the words, which perfectly describe this stupidity and recklessness: …for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves. (Isa 28:15)
Yet, if we had given thought, read and understood His Holy Word; taken heed of His Commands, and truly loved the LORD Jesus Christ and His Gospel as we claim, these are the words we would live by:
And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. (Deut 6:4-8)
2:2 Thessalonians:
While all of Paul’s writing is exceptional; 2:2 Thessalonians is truly remarkable in his understanding of our relationship with God. In it he sets out a great truth, misconstrued by most, destroying its purpose and meaning. The chapter is about personal truth and faith; sin and dishonesty: it is not about the supposed anti-Christ as taught in the Churches. The strong delusion is aimed squarely at you and me. It is not for anyone else, it is not about anyone else… it is a private letter. The love of Christ in Paul is talking to us directly. It is a really easy message, which Jesus condensed into just one sentence…
He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. (Luke 11:23)
Paul shows we are our own worst enemy. And how, by the seed we have carried since birth, born of Eden, we delude ourselves in our ego. Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes… (Isa 5:21) He speaks also on a communal level, to the Churches and to those who trample God’s Word through creed, doctrine and law: who replace the Word of the Spirit with futile dreams. Of those that build an image of God to suit their purpose, as we saw in Isaiah and which came out from Nicaea. The deeper we sink, the stronger the illusion takes hold; the plagues, which follow, consume our good sense and power to believe. The LORD through, Satan His servant, destroys His word in us by our unbelief.
We deceive ourselves and are scattered by the LORD when we don’t gather with Him. In our delusion, we become as Eve and Adam, and raise ourselves in our pride. We place ourselves above Him in His temple; His resting place in our heart. We demolish our humility, believing we are as God and all that is worshipped. We become the man of sin. For sin is nothing but unbelief, falling away from the Gospel of Christ. When we remove Jesus from His tabernacle in us, we create a void to be filled by another. Who will that be? Let Him break that binding and set you free: for in His Grace is faith assured.
In Matthew’s Gospel we find Jesus telling us to enter through the narrow gate that leads to life; but there are few that find it. Few find it, as not many know where to look. So, go look in the mirror: say hello to the son, and daughter of self-desolation and think about these things I have set before you. Bow your head, ask forgiveness, and when you look up again, I promise, you will see the narrow gate looking back at you. It’s the door where Jesus patiently waits: open it. It’s time to purge the delusion, and the false imaginings of others; the broad way that leads to destruction. It’s time to make a change and step into the light of freedom and Grace.
